Understanding Genetic Diseases

The word heredity / hereditary means it's in the genes, it's genetic it is in the family's genes / genetics, it's in the way you're made up D N A. Genes are shared among blood relatives, only.

During reproduction, our genetic make up / genes are passed to our children, the day the male sperm breaks in to the female egg and the cycle of a new life begins. That new life will carry with it, our genes and genetic disorders...

We can all see the obvious characteristics that are in our genes, our genetic make up, like having your fathers chin or your mothers eyes or your mother's thighs and your father's hair ...

Most people, don't connect that we received a lot more than our parents outer most characteristics.

It goes much deeper than one can imagine.

Everyday, people like you and I, have to face the fact that there are hereditary, genetic disorders in our families. There are a lot of genetic disorders that are never noticed and cause no threat. But, there are many that do! And, to find out that it's a life threatening disorder, can be devastating to any family, to say the least..

Keep in mind, there are many genetic disorders that we carry that never create even one, health problem for us. They are not even noticed, because they never effect us at all. But, there are those that need to be kept under surveillance! It's those, that worry us, and it's extremely important that future generations be made aware of these genetic disorders in their family blood line...

As much as we'd be ever so grateful if genetic science, were able to find a cure for those genetic disorders. If we can at least track these disorders down thru the generations, we will have and idea of what to look for, and take preventative measures.

We all have trials and tribulations for a reason, death will come to us all in Gods time, Heaven will be our final reward, a great place of perfection, Gods way..............

There is genetic testing that can be done. Genetic DNA testing can predict susceptibility to many of the disorders.
